In 2016 I applied for a role within the bank that Sharon was managing. Not only did Sharon interview me for the position, but she also hired me. Since then, our relationship grew from colleagues to friends, even more so when I found out that she used to rave! Sharon offered me nothing but support on my endless journey inside and outside work. She was always a shoulder to lean on and someone to tell a story with.
In 2017 I began my journey as a music producer, and I cannot emphasize how much support Sharon has given me since day one. It has and always will mean the world to me. At times I felt like the whole world was against me, and despite that, Sharon would always reach out to me, telling me how great I was doing and how she was proud of me for pursuing my passion. Little did she know that her words only gave me further hope at times of quitting and only fueled my ambition.
Having experienced the underground rave culture, I always felt that there was a bond where only Sharon understood precisely what I was trying to say. Maybe it was a coincidence, or perhaps it was just God's way of remaining anonymous.
Regardless of where my journey takes me, I will never forget Sharon, for she was a light in the darkness and, in doing so, will boldly remain in my memory.
In loving memory of Sharon, I produced a song encompassing the underground rave culture that Sharon and I shared and something that would tell a story as Sharon and I would.
